Description:The Downtown Los Angeles Chapter of the the Japanese American Citizens League is one of the oldest nonprofit civil rights groups in Southern California. The Downtown JACL helps cosponsor the annual Women of the Year program in Little Tokyo and raises monies annually for the needy thru the annual Holiday Cheer program. They are help sponsor an outing to a Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball game for the senior citizens at the Little Tokyo Towers. The organization is led by Kitty Sankey.
